Our Story
Every parent imagines what life will look like for their child. Ours took a different path and it changed our hearts forever.
It became a journey filled with questions, learning curves, and moments that stretched us in ways we never imagined.
When Logan was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, it opened our eyes to a world that so many families quietly navigate every single day. A world where something as simple as a sound, a bright light, or a busy room can feel overwhelming. A world where resources aren't always easy to find, and support can sometimes feel just out of reach.
Logan is six years old, autistic, and non-speaking. Every day, he reminds us that progress isn't always measured by giant milestones, but by the small victories that many people take for granted. Whether it's communicating through his iPad, trying something new, or simply feeling safe and comfortable in the right environment, each achievement is worth celebrating. Those moments have shaped not only our family, but the vision for this foundation.
But this journey also introduced us to something incredibly powerful. Resilience, growth, and a community of people walking similar paths.
There have been seasons filled with challenges, change, and uncertainty. But through it all, one thing has remained constant: the importance of feeling supported, understood, and never having to walk this journey alone.
Logan's Sensory Foundation was created so that other families don't have to search as hard, feel as lost, or face this journey without support. We want to help create spaces where children feel safe, families feel seen, and differences are not simply accepted, but embraced.
That's why we're passionate about bringing sensory-friendly environments into the places families spend their everyday lives such as schools, churches, and community spaces. We also believe in supporting the teachers, therapists, staff, and caregivers who walk alongside these children every day, equipping them with the tools, resources, and understanding they need to help every child thrive.
This foundation is more than a mission. It's personal. It's built on love, lived experience, and a deep desire to make life just a little easier for the next family walking this path.
We can't change an autism diagnosis, but together we can change the world that individuals with autism and their families experience every day. Through understanding, inclusion, and community, we hope to create a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive, every family feels supported, and no one ever feels alone.
